Firefighters from High Wycombe Fire Station decided to clear up the litter that was floating and/or stuck in the River Wye on Thursday.

In a brief Facebook post, High Wycombe Fire Station said: "After some training today with our water rescue equipment, Green Watch decided to clear up the litter in the Wye that runs behind our drill yard.
"It should stay clean for at least another three weeks now."
The news was met with praise with those who live in the town, with many Facebook users thanking the firefighters for their work.
