A huge banner thanking the NHS staff has been erected at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
The notice was put up at the start of the month next to the hospital’s entrance.

Those working on the frontline have been praised up and down the country as the UK along with the rest of the world, continue to fight against the coronavirus.

And as well as those at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, many people living near the area have shown their support to the NHS, by putting out similar banners and posters.
Globally, 1,291,313 people have had the illness, whilst 70,659 people have died from Covid-19.
