Following the post, many Twitter users used the opportunity to come up with their best rabbit-based puns.
One person stated that Thumper was, ‘enough to give the criminals grey hares’ whilst another user said: “Glad to see Thumper hasn’t been issued with shoes or boots. Would hate him to get bunny-ons.”
On duty police officers are urging people to follow the new self-isolating guidelines as the coronavirus continues to spread across the country at a rapid pace.
