As the coronavirus outbreak continues to cause chaos and uncertainty across the community, many events in South Bucks have been cancelled or postponed as a precaution.
Marlow Rotary Club’s annual youth concert
The annual youth concert was due to take place at the town’s All Saints Church on Saturday, March 21, but has now been cancelled. The rotary club confirmed that they hope to arrange another concert with the same musicians from the Chiltern Music Academy for a similar date in 2021.

Clayton’s Marlow
All of Clayton’s Marlow’s music events have been called off as the restaurant confirmed on March 18 that they will be shut due to the coronavirus. It is not known when they will reopen.
Pub in the Park
Marlow’s Pub in the Park has been moved to September. The news was confirmed on March 17 with the new dates being September 25-27.
The Marlow Bookshop
The Marlow Bookshop have cancelled all their events until the end of April.
In a statement on Twitter they said: “In light of the current situation, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel all events until the end of April.
“Full refunds will, of course, be given for tickets.
“Copies of the books featured at our events are still available for sale in the shop, and it would mean a great deal to both us and the authors if you bought a copy.
“Thank you all for your continued support.”

Marlow Museum
Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, Marlow Museum has shut until further notice.
The Elgivia Theatre
The Elgivia Theatre in Chesham has confirmed that all performances have been called out until March 23 and that full refunds will be processed if need be. They also confirmed that the box office will remain open from 9.30am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
Chesham Library
Chesham Library has confirmed that they have cancelled all their up-and-coming events due to the coronavirus.

The Great British Spring Clean
The annual Great Bring Clean has been called off due to the coronavirus. It was due to take place on Saturday, March 21.
Parkrun Wycombe
High Wycombe’s parkrun, which takes place every Saturday, has too been cancelled. Their official statement said: “All parkrun events in the United Kingdom have been suspended with immediate effect due to the ongoing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation.
"At this stage, we have cancelled events up to the end of March."
