One of Marlow’s most popular restaurants has shut due to the coronavirus.
Clayton Marlow’s, which is based on the Oxford Road, confirmed the news on their Instagram page today (March 18).

They have also issued a notice on one of their windows which reads: “We are closed until further notice (for obvious reasons).”
“Sorry for any inconvenience.
“Hopefully it won’t be too long.
“Miss you already.”

On their Instagram page, they said: Sad times.
“Even the printer’s playing up!
“We’re closed until further notice.

“We’re just in the process of going through all events and booking so if you have anything booked with us, don’t worry, we’ll be in touch.
“P.s. it’s not goodbye, just au revoir x.”
Last year, Clayton’s Marlow won the 2019 ‘Best Bar-Focused’ category at the annual Brakspear's Hospitality Awards.
It is not known when they will reopen.
