Tesco in Loudwater will close two hours early to restock on certain items.
The store has seen certain necessities such as toilet rolls, bread, frozen food and baby wipes get bought in bulk as the country comes to terms with the spread of the coronavirus.
In a notice displayed outside the entrance, it read: “From Tuesday, March 17, this store will close at 10pm until further notice.

“We are sorry for any inconvenience.”
The notice outside the store
A couple of customers originally believed that the store was going to close at 10pm today (March 17) and will not open until further notice.
However, members of staff clarified that despite the store closing two hours early, IT WILL reopen the next morning at 6am.
One customer said that the sign was, ‘poorly written’ and that, ‘it will cause panic’.
Loudwater’s Tesco branch is one of many supermarkets across the country that are feeling the effect of bulk buying amid coronavirus fears.
