This week for Then and Now, we are in the Desborough Road area of High Wycombe.
This first picture from around 1920 is looking north east at a view of crowd, mainly children, outside the Grand Cinema at 260 Desborough Road.
The building now houses charity Central Aid.

Looking west from close to junction with West End Street, this picture from April 1969 shows shops on the north and south side of the road.
