The emergency services were called out after a car caught fire on the M40 between Junction 2 (Beaconsfield) to Junction 3 (Loudwater) on Wednesday, March 4.

Three fire engines, one from Beaconsfield Fire Station, one from Gerrards Cross Fire Station and one from High Wycombe Fire Station attended the scene at around 4.35pm.

Firefighters used one hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera and an environmental pack.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is unknown.
