A ticket machine in a busy Marlow car park is currently restricting motorists to pay for car parking via an app.
The machine at the entrance of the Liston Road car park, is not allowing card payments as motorists are having to use the mobile app, ‘RingGo’ to pay for their parking.

The ticket machine near the exit of the car park is still allowing card payments.
A sign issued by Wycombe District Council has been put on the machine which reads: “Payment by mobile phone (RingGo) only.
“Further details on tariff board.
“Apologies for any inconvenience.”

This comes nearly nine months after the same ticket machines in the same car park malfunctioned.
The problem occurred after the motorists put in their number plate, but instead of progressing to how long you wanted to park for, the screen issued a statement saying, ‘sorry, failed to communicate with server’ before going back to the home screen.
We have contacted Wycombe District Council for a comment.
