There have been several coronavirus scares in Buckinghamshire this week.
The fears began on Tuesday afternoon [February 25], after Wycombe Hospital’s Urgent Treatment Centre was temporarily shut due to a ‘safeguarding incident’.
The UTC was in lockdown for several hours with patients not allowing to leave the hospital due to the severity of the situation.

However, at around 5pm on Tuesday, it was confirmed that the UTC had reopened with the closure being due to ‘infection control reasons’, but these reasons were never disclosed.
Following the lockdown, members of the public revealed their version of events with one person saying: "I was in the waiting area when a guy came in with a mask and elbow high gloves on saying he needed to be seen."
Another person said: “A friend was in there and a guy with suspected coronavirus walked in [and] sat down, and then everything went to shut down."
One person posted on Facebook saying: "I was one of those few people in there with my two-year-old son.

"Sat right next to the guy, then they wouldn't let us out.
"Currently holding him in a pod and have told us to watch for symptoms.
"They have no control over this.
“So angry."

Northern Italy is one of the locations where the coronavirus fears have spread too.
The school said: “Parents of any boys who did not return to school after the holidays following a trip to any of the countries shown [in the official government guidance letter] because of a cough, fever or shortness of breath are asked to follow government advice.”

A day later on Wednesday, February 26, The Simpson Centre in Beaconsfield was temporarily closed due to a suspected coronavirus scare.
The centre was shut in the morning with the Gregories Road health centre putting up a sign in their window stating: “Due to a suspected coronavirus case the surgery is currently closed to patients.”

The surgery then asked patients to call them if medical attention is needed urgently.
However, after reopening a few hours later, the centre declined to comment on the nature of the incident but did confirm that it had been reported to the Buckinghamshire CCG.
On the same day, it was confirmed that several students at the Chalfonts Community College were back in school just days after a returning from a skiing trip in Northern Italy.
A spokesperson from the school said: "We are still allowing students to come into school, and we have issued a letter to all the parents and guardians on what to do if any of their children show the symptoms."
