UPDATE: Headteacher at High Wycombe's Royal Grammar School releases coronavirus statement
The Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe has issued a statement after they visited Northern Italy last week amid coronavirus fears.

This comes after an anonymous person, who said they had links to the school, told the Bucks Free Press that a couple of students who attended the trip to Italy, ‘were sent home after they showed symptoms of the illness.’
In a statement that was published on February 25, the RGS said: “We are regularly reviewing our communications regarding the coronavirus and would ask parents to consult government guidance frequently.

“Parents of any boys who did not return to school after the holidays following a trip to any of the countries shown [in the official government guidance letter] because of a cough, fever or shortness of breath are asked to follow government advice.
“We will also ask you to follow this advice if your son subsequently experiences any of these symptoms for the next two weeks.
“A handful of boys have been collected by parents today [February 25], having come back from Italy with coughs and colds.

“We have asked those parents to follow the advice [in the official government guidance letter], although it is not unusual for boys to have colds at this time of year and particularly when returning from a long journey."
