Wycombe’s 3-1 victory over Tranmere was special for many reasons.
The result meant that Wycombe secured back-to-back league wins for the first time since November, they are now one point off the automatic promotion places and it was their 13th home league win this campaign.
However, the day was particularly special for brothers Francisco and Frenzel Gamez, who flew all the way from Mexico to watch the Chairboys in action on Saturday.

This then begs the question: why did two people with no links to English football travel thousands of miles to watch Gareth Ainsworth's men in action?
Frenzel said: “We decided to plan this trip because my brother plays FIFA and we saw the team, Wycombe.
“We then saw Akinfenwa, he then saw that he is a beast, we Googled him and saw his followers on Instagram and we thought he was amazing.
“We then started to follow the team as we became fans, so that is why we decided to come to the game today [Saturday].
“We started to plan this trip to Wycombe about three months ago, but my brother wanted to see Wycombe play for about a year.
“But with money and other stuff, we couldn’t do it but after a while, my brother went a bit crazy and he said, ‘we need to see Akinfenwa!’
“This is because he could retire soon, and we wanted to see him play live.”
Prior to Saturday’s match, the two brothers were given a tour of Adams Park and met the first-team players before kick-off.

Francisco and Frenzel then had dinner with the players after the 3-1 victory over Tranmere, where they gave the club a mini mariachi hat as a good luck charm for the remainder of the season.
Frenzel added: “I really enjoyed the game and I enjoyed the people and the town.
“It was our first time in Wycombe and it was incredible.
“And we were really happy when Akinfenwa scored - it was a dream come true.
“There was drama at 1-1 and when we scored to make it 2-1, it was perfect.
“There was intensity and Akinfenwa made the difference – it was amazing.”
Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth then said: "That's the story of football.
"These guys have come all the way from Mexico to watch Wycombe Wanderers vs Tranmere.
"They could have watched any Premier League team, any Championship game, but because they fell in love with this club mainly through a computer game.
"And we just so have to have the strongest player on that game in our team, where he scored a goal, I don't think they could have had a better day.
"So muchas gracias to our fans from Mexico."
Wycombe’s victory over Tranmere means the Chairboys remain in the play-off places, one point off the automatic promotion places.
