Health bosses have released a short statement following the decision to close the Urgent Treatment Centre at Wycombe Hospital earlier this afternoon.
The statement from the Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust reads: "The decision was taken to temporarily close the Urgent Treatment Centre at Wycombe Hospital this afternoon as a precautionary measure for infection control reasons.
"The unit has now been fully reopened. We apologise for any inconvenience."

It is not clear what has prompted the closure and it has not yet been linked to coronavirus.
