Regular visitors to High Wycombe's town centre may have seen a familiar face yesterday - as MP and prominent Brexiteer Mark Francois made a visit.
Former veterans minister Mark and Wycombe MP Steve Baker, who are both members of the European Research Group, stopped off at Heidrun in Pauls Row after attending the official opening of the Royal Star and Garter home for veterans in Hughenden Avenue on February 20.
The multi-million pound care home provides specialist nursing and dementia care for military veterans and their partners.
It was officially opened by Princess Alexandra on Thursday.
After the opening ceremony was celebrated, Steve showed Mark the sights of High Wycombe - stopping off at one of the town's newest bars, Heidrun.
Sharing the news on Twitter, Steve ribbed Mark for choosing a strawberry beer at the Pauls Row bar, saying: "So Mark Francois walks into a bar in High Wycombe... and orders the strawberry beer" followed by laughing faces.
