A man has been banned from entering High Wycombe town centre for six years.
Daniel Wickes, 53, has been slapped with a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) - which means he cannot enter the town centre, be drunk, enter any pub or bar in High Wycombe
or have any open container of alcohol in a public place in High Wycombe.
He has also been banned from contacting the emergency services or the county council - unless he has a genuine reason.
The Tilling Crescent resident was given the ban at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on January 29.
The CBO lasts for six years.
PC Glynn McCarthy, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “Daniel has been a prolific offender in High Wycombe town centre for a number of years, regularly behaving anti-socially, causing a nuisance to local residents and business owners and actively wasting time of a number of organisations.
“His behaviour has had a real impact on those who live and work in the town centre and I’m pleased that we have been able to obtain this CBO to put an end to this behaviour.
“I hope that this CBO, banning Daniel from being drunk and entering High Wycombe town centre, serves as a wake-up call and will help with his long-term engagement with support services.”
