Plans have been submitted to extend the warehouse at the Waitrose superstore at Marlow Hill.
The proposal is to construct an extension to the warehouse that already sits in the service yard, which will allow a higher number of online deliveries.
The plans will also see work on the car parks to accommodate parking for additional delivery vans.
Developers hope that if the plans are approved, the increase in warehouse space will have numerous benefits.
In the planning documents, developers say that they hope the increased space will ‘increase the warehouse space available for storage of products and to improve the functionality of the back of house operations and facilitate increased online deliveries.’
