A house in Flackwell Heath had to be evacuated after a sinkhole appeared in the road.
Firefighters were called to reports of flooding in Chapel Road at 9.15am today - and when they arrived, they found a large hole had appeared in the pavement.
Three Urban Search and Rescue vehicles along with a crew from Beaconsfield evacuated the residents in the affected house and isolated the electricity supply.
They then used a pump to remove some of the water.
The road was shut off and a cordon put in place around the hole while a mains water pipe was isolated.
Thames Water and Transport for Bucks are at the scene.
