The Marlow Museum have announced the winner of their Marlow in Winter competition.
The contest, which saw participants enter in photos from past and present, saw Richard Maidment from Marlow win the competition with an atmospheric landscape entitled ‘Little Marlow’.
The competition was organised by museum’s secretary Della Fitzgerald attracted over 50 entries from members of the public.
Mike Hyde, who is the museum’s chairman, said: “I wasn’t on the judging panel but those who were, were taken back by the amount of amazing entries that we had.

“It was obviously a tough call for them, but they were very impressed with Richard’s entry, which is why he won.”
Richard was given a sparkling bottle of wine following his victory.
All the entries are still on display, and can be seen by the public every Sunday from 2pm to 2pm until the end of February.
Additionally, the museum have also put on a display, ‘The Story of Marlow’, which shows the history of the town from the prehistoric times to the present day.
The museum is based on Pound Lane and have been open for 10 years.
