An optician in Marlow has recently won the best, ‘Window Dressing Competition’ just before Christmas.
Organised by the Marlow Chamber of Commerce, three judges, which included the chamber’s president Lesley James, decided that Leightons Opticians and Hearing Care, who are based on the High Street, should win the award.
They based this on the amount of work and thought that went into the window dressing, and the judges believed that Leightons Opticians were unanimously favourite.

The prize was a Christmas hamper which was given to opticians by Waitrose.
The supermarket, who left the town in October this year, decided to create the hamper and give it to the winner competition when the winner was announced.
