Wycombe’s parliamentary candidates will go head-to-head and battle it out in front of the electorate in a Bucks Free Press hustings event next month.
Bucks New University will play host to the hustings for Wycombe candidates on Tuesday, December 3, and everyone is invited to go along to hear what they have to say on the issues that are important to voters.
The event will be covered live in a minute-by-minute blog on the Bucks Free Press website.
The Wycombe hustings will be held in the Gateway Lecture Theatre in the Gateway Building at Bucks New University’s Queen Alexandra Road campus from 7pm to 9pm.
It will be hosted by former Bucks Free Press editor Steve Cohen.
Bucks Free Press group editor Andrew Colley said: “We are delighted to be hosting some more successful hustings events similar to those we hosted ahead of the 2017 General Election.
“The Bucks Free Press has been at the heart of the community for more than 160 years and has been helping to shape political coverage ever since the first edition came off the presses.
“We are committed to holding politicians to account and we are expecting to grill all the hopeful candidates on the issues that are important to our residents - from the environment to the NHS - and of course, Brexit.
“We would love to see as many people there as possible.”
