UPDATE: 'No evidence of third party involvement' after woman's body found
Bucks Free Press readers have expressed their shock and sadness following the news that a woman’s body was found earlier today in Beaconsfield.
Police officers were called to an address in Hyde Green at 6.15am this morning.
A 44-year-old man from Beaconsfield has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.
In response to our post on social media, many have sent touching tributes as well as those who raised concerns about what they perceive as a rise in crime across the area.

Lynn van Dyke wrote: “When I moved to Chalfont St. Peter 33 years ago, it was and still is a lovely place. I have seen many changes.
“There is so much crime now. All over the place. That poor lady R.I.P.”
Abhishek Pandya said: “What is this world coming to? So sad.
Two neighbours spoke to a Bucks Free Press reporter, expressing their disbelief at the news.
One said: “I cannot believe it. It normally is a very quiet road; we never have any issues down here that I can remember.”
Another said: “We don’t tend to have anything happening here so it’s a real shock.”
