A flooded underpass near a busy High Wycombe park has finally been emptied after more than eight months.
The Abbey Way underpass - which links Queen Victoria Road with The Rye - is well-used by families and cyclists but has been flooded since at least December.
When a reporter went to check on the situation over the weekend, they found it had finally been drained.
But it is still closed off for now until it gets a major deep-clean to get rid of the thick mud and discarded litter - and even a traffic cone which had been dumped in there.
