One person – a passenger aged 17 – sadly died at the scene while other occupants of the vehicle were taken to Wexham Park Hospital in Slough, where they all remain in a stable condition.
No arrests have been made.
Senior investigating officer Inspector Beth Walton of the Serious Collisions Investigations Unit based at Bicester, said: “This appears to be a single vehicle collision and we are investigating the circumstances which led to the car leaving the carriageway and colliding with a sub-station.
“Tragically, a 17-year-old boy passed away at the scene.
“His next of kin are aware and are being supported by specially trained officers.
“I am appealing to anybody who witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage from the area at around 10.45pm on Tuesday to contact us.”
