The travellers left the Rye earlier on today (July 19), as the charity run, Race for Life, takes place in the popular green space on Sunday.
They moved to the National Trust property this afternoon.
Witnesses revealed that the travellers were riding scooters on the grass, with there being roughly 20 caravans on site.
