New CGI generated images of the proposed £150m motorway service station have been released.
The site is adjacent to the M25 between junctions 16 and 17 in Chalfont St Peter.
Developers have said that their proposals address a ‘significant road safety need for this location on the motorway network’.
The proposals have taken more than 18 months to be submitted, with developers working alongside residents, councillors and local community groups.
Andrew Long CEO and Co-Founder of Extra MSA Group, said: “Following more than 18 months of engagement with significant ‘stakeholders’, inclusive of the two Public Consultations at which more than 200 people attended, we are pleased to have submitted our carefully considered proposals, taking into account all ‘feedback’ received.”
“There is a clear ‘road safety’ need for an MSA on this section of the Motorway Network and between J16 & J17 of the M25 is the optimum and most appropriate location. Extra’s professional team have created a unique masterplan that reflects the special character of the area, with high standards of ‘new concept’ design.
“We look forward to continuing to work with the Local Community on this important new MSA development.”
