Wycombe MP Steve Baker has swapped Parliament for post today as he joined Royal Mail for a day.
The former Brexit minister was up bright and early and has been sorting mail and delivering post to residents in Hazlemere.
He took to the streets in typical postie fashion with a hi-vis jacket and shorts and his red delivery bag slung over his shoulder.
In a video posted on his Twitter page, the politician said: "Today I'm out in Hazlemere with Royal Mail, I'm walking in posties' shoes.

"So whereas I would normally deliver leaflets to every house, today I've got the nuisance factor of having to deliver the right stuff to the right house.
"I think so far, we have got it right. People have not been in, we have needed to get signed-for parcels delivered and so forth, but it has been a real privilege to come out and learn, right through from sorting to delivery, the life of a postman and I'm really grateful for the opportunity."
