On Saturday, May 18, Let’s Rock The Moor will be kicking off the 2019 festival season at Marsh Meadows in Cookham.
Let’s Rock The Moor is the first of the twelve Let’s Rock festivals this summer which run through to Let’s Rock Essex on September 7.
A combined audience of 150,000 people will be entertained by the biggest stars of the era, with different line-ups at all the festivals. Some of the biggest names include Erasure’s Andy Bell, Marc Almond, Shalamar, Jason Donovan, Go West and Nik Kershaw.
2019 performer, Andy Bell said this: “It’s a great family audience and people can’t seem to get enough of the 80s stuff - although, I will add some later material. We always have a blast!”
Originally started in 2009 as a small charity event, the renowned music festival has managed to maintain continuous growth; having 2019 be its largest year yet in terms of audience and number of Festival locations (with new sites in Wales, Belfast, Essex and Liverpool)
Let’s Rock continues to work with many amazing charities including Child Bereavement UK, The Wooden Spoon, and The Link Foundation. They also work with local charities wherever possible. To date almost half a million pounds has been raised for children’s charities by The Let’s Rock brand.
Let’s Rock organisers Nick Billinghurst & Matt Smith said: “We’re really proud of what we’ve created with Let’s Rock and its such a thrill to work with so many iconic artists. What makes Let’s Rock truly special is our amazingly loyal and up-for-it audience, and every year we strive to improve their experience. Here’s to our best Let’s Rock summer yet!”
