The body of a man has been discovered at The Rye in High Wycombe this afternoon.
An area close to the Dyke was cordoned off by police this afternoon after they were called to the scene at around 2pm.
Forensics arrived at the scene with a stretcher before the body of a man, 49, was taken away in a van.
The park is busy today with families enjoying the half term sunshine.
A visitor to The Rye told a reporter from the Bucks Free Press: "We came down here to enjoy the weather with the kids so to see this sort of scene was very saddening."
Another added: "I'm not entirely sure what has happened but for a serious incident to happen so close to where children are playing is awful".
It comes exactly one year after police descended on The Rye and pulled a body out of the Dyke.
Police are treating the death as unexplained but not suspicious.
More information as we get it.
