Travellers are still pitched up at the Handy Cross Hub in High Wycombe after two weeks in what the district council has called an “unacceptable incursion”.
Around four caravans arrived and set up camp at the park and ride on January 10 and more have since arrived.
Wycombe District Council (WDC) said the process of legally moving them on from the car park has been delayed by an IT failure that has affected hundreds of courts.
Government ministers have been warned that the court system is “reaching crisis point” after an IT meltdown saw thousands of cases disrupted or delayed.
A statement from WDC said: “We are actively working with the court and police to resolve this issue.
"We are deeply concerned that the previously scheduled court appearance didn’t happen, because of problems with the court system, and are actively working to end this unacceptable incursion by the travellers.”
