An air ambulance was called out after a car fell on top of a man while he was working underneath it.
South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) said it was called out at 5.15pm to reports of a man, who working under a car while it was jacked up, becoming trapped by it in Queensmead Road, Loudwater.
The man sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries and, after assessment, initial treatment and stabilisation at the scene, has been taken to the major trauma centre at John Radcliffe Hospital, SCAS confirmed.
As well as the air ambulance, SCAS also sent out a paramedic team leader in a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance crew and a senior ambulance officer to the incident.
