Twenty five people had to be evacuated from a coach after it caught fire on the M40 this morning - causing two miles of delays.
Traffic is still slow on the southbound carriageway and around Handy Cross following the coach fire, which happened on the hard shoulder between Handy Cross and Loudwater.
Firefighters were called at 10.53am to tackle the blaze. The 25 passengers and the driver managed to get off the coach safely.
There are still delays and two lanes blocked following the fire. Emergency services had to block the traffic completely for a short time so a safe lane could be opened for other vehicles to use.
