A car fire caused traffic chaos on the M25 this afternoon.
Emergency service, including Bucks Fire, police and Highways England officers, were called out to the scene between J15 (M4 interchange) and J16 (M40 interchange) at 3.27pm.
Traffic was stopped while they worked to clear the scene.
Bucks Fire confirmed firefighters used one hose reel and one set of breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.
#M25 J15 (#M4) to J16 9#M40) - traffic has been released but 2 lanes (of 4) remain closed whilst our @Bucksfire colleagues damp down a car fire. Slow traffic approaching and passing the scene so expect delays. pic.twitter.com/BksAjfMh94
