A car crashed into a ditch in Wooburn Green yesterday evening. 

The blue Toyota MR2 left Holtspur Lane and ended up down a steep embankment at the side of the road, opposite the Citygate Van Centre, on Thursday. 

A police car and van were on the scene after being called at 5.20pm, but the car was still in the ditch this morning. 

Thames Valley Police have confirmed no one was injured in the crash.

Concerned passers-by stopped at the scene at around 9am on Friday and called 101, fearing someone could be injured, unaware that the crash happened yesterday.

It has not yet been confirmed if the car has now been recovered.
