The Bourne End Flower Arrangement Society meets on the second Tuesday of every month. The group will next meet at the Bourne End Community Centre from 7:45pm to 10pm on May 3. Sarah Motley will give a talk entitled “Sunshine always Follows Rain”.
The annual WI Women Walk the World treasure hunt will take place on Friday, April 29 at the Bourne End Community Centre on Wakeman Road. Entrants will walk around the village solving clues followed by a soup and sandwich lunch followed by tea and coffee. It will begin at 10:30am. It costs £9. To enter email HQ@bucksfwi.org.uk

Family history expert Peter Christian will delve in to the future of genealogy on the internet during a one off talk on Tuesday, May 10. He will discuss how the development of online resources and facilities affect the exploration of genealogy today and problems that may arise at the Bourne End Community Centre on Wakeman Road at 7:45pm. Entry is free although a small donation would be appreciated.
The picturesque gardens at the Odney club will open its gates for charity on Sunday, April 24. Guests will be able to roam the 120 acre site which was popular with Cookham artist Stanley Spencer. The gardens will be open from 2 to 6pm. Admission is £4.50, children are fee. Light refreshments will be provided.
