Police have arrested a third teenager on suspicion of GBH following an argument between the occupants of two cars in High Wycombe yesterday (March 28).
The 18-year-old from High Wycombe has been bailed until May 9.
Police were called at around 4.40pm to Mentmore Road, Booker, to a report of an argument between the occupants of a black Astra and a blue VW Golf.
Two men were injured – one of them seriously – with what police believe was a "sharp implement" and were treated in hospital.
Two 18-year-olds from High Wycombe have also been arrested on suspicion of GBH and bailed until May 15.
Police are urging anyone who has any information regarding the incident to come forward.
Det Insp Mark Baxter, from Force Crime, said: “I would appeal for anyone who has information about this incident to contact police on 101 quoting URN 1110 (28/3).
“I ask that the community remain calm and if anyone has concerns please speak to members of the neighbourhood policing team who are in the area.
“If you don't want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.”
