  • Padstones, a charity that looks after homeless teenagers in Bucks, is hosting its Annual Quiz Night on Friday, March 11 at Davenies School in Station Road, Beaconsfield. The event will run from 7pm to 10.30pm, with teams of 2-10 people. Tickets are £15pp including a hot supper.   • Make Time for a Cuppa in support of Dementia UK on Thursday, March 3. Head down to Beaconsfield Town Hall between 3pm and 6pm for tea and coffee.  
     
  • Iain Rennie Hospice at Home is inviting music enthusiasts to join them at St Michael and All Angels Church in Beaconsfield on March 12 for a fundraising evening to listen to the highly acclaimed Ascot Brass featuring Megan Cave, piano and Amy Sheldon, saxophone. Repertoire includes classical, light popular and big band music.   • Gerrards Cross Town Council is holding a public meeting on the Joint Local Plan consultation this evening. The event starts at 7.30pm at Colston Hall, GXCA, 8 East Common, Gerrards Cross SL9 7AD. The leader and deputy leader of South Bucks District Council will be in attendance.
     
  • The Misbourne Matins will be holding a non-stop eighteen hour meeting in celebration of its 18th birthday on Wednesday, March 2 at Gerrards Cross Golf Club. The meeting, which is believed to be the longest Rotarian meeting ever, will have various speakers between 6am and midnight and will raise money for charity – 50 per cent to the Rotary Polio Plus campaign and 50 per cent to Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
