Wycombe Leisure Centre was opened in front of dozens of excited residents, gym-goes, staff and dignitaries this morning.
The opening marked a new era for the district, with council and gym bosses hailing the build a great success.
Wycombe District Council chairman, Cllr Ian McEnnis, led proceedings alongside chief executive Karen Satterford, leader Katrina Wood and other cabinet members and councillors.

Over the course of the morning, the council officials joined members of the public in trying out the new equipment for the first time.
