An independent day school for girls in Great Kingshill is celebrating having been awarded an “excellent” rating in all categories of a recent inspection.
The rating, which is the equivalent of an “outstanding” Ofsted grade, was awarded to Pipers Corner School in Pipers Lane following a four-day inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) in October.
The ISI Inspection examines quality of teaching, pupil achievement, and pastoral care, as well as curricular and extra-curricular provisions.
Headmistress, Mrs Helen Ness-Gifford, said: “We are very pleased to have received such a positive endorsement of our school.
“The findings are a true testament to the hard work of all the school staff, combined with input from the girls themselves and the support from all our families.
“We look forward to moving forward and building on the many strengths identified in this report, ensuring that we continue to provide our pupils with the best possible education across every area of the school.”
The school has a bright future with plans in place for an Arts Centre, including a 280 seat theatre, due to open in September 2016.
