A car, worth around £18,000 new, was “written off” this morning after a council truck smashed into it before colliding with a bench in Loudwater.
The crash, which involved one other vehicle, happened shortly before 9am this morning on Kingsmead Road.
Police confirmed that the car – an orange/brown Nissan Qashqai – was stationary when it was struck by the Chiltern District Council truck.
The boyfriend of the car’s owner said that the car was only bought one month ago.
An ambulance was at the scene but no injuries were reported.
