HP10 named as one of Britain's burglary hotspots
Keep your valuables locked up if you have an HP10 postcode - because you live in one of Britain's burglary hotspots.
According to home insurance quotes made to the website MoneySupermarket.com, residents of the HP10 area made 27.3 claims for burglary per 1,000 people last year.
That meant the area - which includes Flackwell Heath, Wooburn Green, Penn and Tylers Green - was the 20th most burgled postcodes in the whole of the UK.
London postcodes made up 12 of the top 20 list, but the figures show the most burgled postcode in Britain is M21.
In that particular Manchester postal code, which includes the areas of Chorlton-cum-Hardy and Barlow Moor, 45.2 insurance claims for burglary per 1,000 people.
