Two men riding an off-road motorbike damaged the windows of eight parked cars in High Wycombe yesterday.
The incident follows a spate of vandalism to more than 250 cars in the town over the last couple of months.
Officers have not confirmed if the incidents are connected, but are appealing for witnesses who saw the latest damage at about 5.30pm, yesterday.
The vehicles targeted were parked in Deeds Grove, Baronsmead Road and Knights Hill.
The rider of the motorcycle was wearing a dark-coloured helmet and the passenger was wearing a dark blue hoodie. The motorcycle was dark in colour.
Investigating officer, Det Sgt Simon Reid from High Wycombe CID, said: “This happened in the early evening and I would urge any witnesses or anyone with any information about this incident to contact police via 101 as soon as possible.”
“If you don't want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
“No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.”
