A PHD student is going to make an accurate 3D scan of the West Wycombe Caves, for the first time.
Aisling Tierney is doing an archaeology PHD part time and her research has been looking at all Hellfire Clubs in the UK and Ireland.
She has self funded her studies at Bristol University but the last piece of her survey work in West Wycombe needs a large chunk of cash to get off the ground.
The 30-year-old, who originally hails from Limerick, wants to do a full 3D laser scan of the West Wycombe caves, which project will result in a 3D interactive model of the caves, which she will make available free online for anyone to look at.
