THREE craftsmen celebrated 25 years of service at a Princes Risborough firm.
Paul Little, Tony Bradley and Andy Flanagan have all worked for 25 years at Hypnos, who are Royal bed makers, for 25 years.
This accolade means they enter a club of 19, who have worked at the family run business for 25 years- three of whom have been there 35 years.
Paul is a master craftsman specialising in upholstering divan bases.
He was one of the first divan frame makers to start manufacturing beds at Station Road in Princes Risborough, following overspill of a John Lewis product at the original Totteridge Road, High Wycombe factory.
Tony is a master craftsman specialising in making mattresses.
He has tailor made a unique eco-friendly mattress for Prince Charles and also made a bespoke mattress to go with a circa 1836 divan base refurbished for Windsor Castle.
Andy works as a mattress maker and has made deliveries to both Buckingham Palace and Clarence House. He was also involved in completing the upholstery refurbishment of seating for the Investiture hall at Buckingham Palace.
There are some 140 people employed at the Princes Risborough site covering both head office administrative functions and the bed making workshops.
The company is an active supplier of beds to the Royal Family and all the palaces. Its showroom is in Longwick Road, Princes Risborough.
