A GROUP of pupils were recognised for their creative writing skills by a Bucks author.

Michael Libra set up a project based on his book 'Dragons of Draegonia - The Adventure Begins,' for primary schools.

And on Monday he went to Beechview School in High Wycombe to present certificates to children who had excelled in the story writing project.

Ebony Nichols was the overall winner but other pupils recognised were Evie Collins, Sophie Smith, Thanika Kaur-Scille, Jolie Rickus, Prince Afolabi-Balogun, Ben Wilson, Malachi Barton, Pramyaa Sinnappu, Swethha Theivanathan and Adam Holloway.
