WANDERERS players spread some festive cheer as they paid a visit to children's wards at two hospitals this week.
Six players headed to Stoke Mandeville Hospital on Tuesday while another six went to Wexham Park to hand out Wanderers-themed goody bags to kids.
Club captain Matt Bloomfield told the Wanderers website: “Afternoons like this really put things into perspective and make you realise just how fortunate we all are.
“The nurses that we’ve been able to speak to today are truly inspirational, as are the children who always seem so positive despite their situations.
“I really hope we helped to put a smile on their faces for the small, time that we were able to spend with them as they certainly put one on ours.”
