A 43-YEAR-old man has been arrested in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a boy.
A man from the Bicester area was arrested yesterday and is currently in police custody.
The arrest relates to an alleged sexual assault on an 11-year-old boy in Wendover on Friday.
Aylesbury Vale LPA Commander Supt Olly Wright said: "Officers have been conducting extra patrols in the area and have been visible to provide reassurance in local schools since the incident. The patrols are planning to continue throughout the week in Wendover.
"I would like to reassure the community once again that incidents of this nature are extremely rare and I would like to thank them for their assistance and understanding while officers have been making enquiries."
