Job: Freelance musician
How long have you been going? We live right beside it so I think we must have been going for seven years.
What do you love about the pub? It's the centre of the community really, there was a different landlord previously and it was abandoned for a year. I think Sean and Esther have been there about three years, they've really turned it around and made it a proper lovely welcoming family pub basically. The staff are also great.
What's the atmosphere like? Incredibly welcoming, there's always a welcoming face and some one to talk to.
Do you have a regular drink and spot? There's a fireplace which is going all night and it's lovely to have a red wine by. I've got an 18 month old and when we go she gets fed strawberries and blueberries. You get the personal treatment.
Is there still a place for pubs in society? Absolutely. When the pub was shut it was horrible the village didn't have an atmosphere, it didn't have a centre any more. They've made it a community again.
