It’s now been over a year since we last had any real effective Emergency Unit within Wycombe and in its place we have been left with the ‘MIIU’ Unit. Of course prior to the Emergency unit we had a fully operational ‘A&E’.
The people of Wycombe deserve to have our A&E returned, it’s not fair that we have to go all the way to either Stoke Mandeville, Wexham or the John Radcliffe Hospital for emergency care.
In fact within the whole of Buckinghamshire (excluding Milton Keynes) there is not one A&E unit – the nearest is the John Radcliffe across the County border in Oxfordshire.
Why did they allow this to happen and also to take away the Maternity department as well?
Because it was allowed to.
Please help to sign up to the petition that I started in the summer – we now have over 5,000 that have kindly signed it but we need many more.
Only with large numbers of us, can we make any difference or loud enough noise.
I am looking to arrange a protest in the New Year and get everyone together to show just how angry that we are that our A&E has been allowed to be taken from us and that we want it returned!
If you haven’t yet signed this particular petition – please do, also please ask all of your friends and family to sign it.
Your details are kelp confidential and I will communicate to you from time to time to keep you updated with the campaign.
Only by us all working together can we have any chance of winning.
It was proved that ‘People Power’ can work in the case of the Stadium – please help now with the Hospital?
Many thanks
Darren
