A SOIL test at allotments in Great Kingshill has revealed there is no contamination at the site, as suggested by an anonymous tip off.

An anonymous letter was sent to Hughenden Parish Council which said there had been illegal waste dumped at the allotments by the council offices.

Councillors agreed to conduct a soil test at the site where it was alleged the waste had been dumped.

Last night it was revealed at the monthly council meeting that the testing showed there was no sign of any contamination in that area.

The council do not know the source of the letter but agreed to let the allotment holders know the results.
