A BOTTLE of wine was stolen from a Tylers Green house at the weekend, police said.

Burglars gained entry to the property in Ashley Drive by forcing open a rear window between 6pm on Saturday and 4.30pm on Sunday.

They stole a bottle of wine and fled the scene, police said in a press statement.

PC Richard Whitcombe said: “This is not an isolated incident in this area.

“We are also looking into a burglary which happened in Rose Avenue between October 24 and October 26 where access was gained through the rear of the property.

“We are urging anyone with information regarding these two incidents to please contact Thames Valley Police.”
